Plan for Abol Animals and Birds: 20 Collection Centers, 12 Treatment Centers to be set up for the treatment of birds

The administration has made special arrangements for the protection and treatment of animals and birds during the Uttarayan festival in Bharuch district. In which 20 collection centers and 12 treatment centres will be set up in the district in collaboration with the forest department, animal husbandry department and voluntary organizations. As many as 10 voluntary organisations in the district have joined the Bird Rescue Campaign along with their teams. The use of Chinese manja has been banned in the district. Strict action will be taken with the help of the Municipality, Forest Department and Police Department on the orders of the Collector to ensure its strict implementation. Last year, 65 birds were saved in Uttarayan In Bharuch district, 45 pigeons, 2 cuckoos, 1 heron, 1 crow, 1 samdi, 2 bats, 28 yellow-beaked dhok and 1 dhell-1, out of which 6 pigeons and 10 yellow-beaked dhok birds died.
