2,000 villages submerged in submerged Punjab, heavy rains and landslides in Himachal Pradesh


North India Weather Updates:  Several north Indian states, including Punjab and Haryana, were also hit by heavy floods on Saturday. Punjab has suffered the most due to floods in the Sutlej and Beas rivers. More than 2,000 villages in Punjab have been inundated and over 3.87  lakh people have been affected by the worst floods in 40 years. On the other hand, there was a flood situation in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand due to continuous eruptions. A total of over 360 people have died and 246 injured in himachal pradesh this monsoon season.
