Gandhinagar receives 4.25 mm rainfall in 24 hours, highest in Gandhinagar city at 13 mm

Gandhinagar district recorded scattered showers on Thursday. In the last 24 hours, the district has received a total of 4.25 mm rainfall. Gandhinagar city recorded the highest rainfall of 13 mm and Kalol 4 mm. While the rainfall in Dahegam and Mansa talukas has been zero. The city received torrential rains for fifteen minutes around 1pm. After that, after a few days of sunshine, there was a cloudy atmosphere again. Kalol area also recorded scattered rainfall. The weather has changed over the last few days across the state. As the monsoon season formally begins, the temperature is also dropping. A few days ago, Gandhinagar, Dahegam, Kalol and Mansa received the first rain of the season. Gandhinagar district has recorded 30.71 per cent of the season's rainfall till 6 am today. Mansa taluka received the highest seasonal rainfall at 37.37 per cent, Followed by Dahegam at 33.09 per cent, Gandhinagar at 29.21 per cent and Kalol at 22.74 per cent.
