After a case of adulteration of precious coal imported at Kandla port was registered at the Vayor police station, the investigation team has reached five accused, including the mastermind of the tapper and the veranda. On the night of July 29, the LCB intercepted a truck loaded with imported coal near Naliya. On the same day, the security of the Ultratech company seized a truck with a fake number plate on the gate. Following this, the Vayor police station registered a case against the owner of the truck, Siddharajsinh Vikramsinh Parmar, and detained him and the driver of the truck, Rawat Ram. According to police sources, the interrogation of the accused truck owner revealed that the main mastermind of the black business was Anand Ahir of Tappar village and Rafiq of Mul Baranda and Rafiq Lohar of Gandhidham. Apart from this, the involvement of Karshan Myatra and Ghulam of Sanghad village as his accomplices has also come to light. The police detained Anand Ahir and Ghulam. Rafiq Lohar has been declared wanted and a notice has been issued to Karshan Myart. This is how the scam was carried out
After filling the coal from Kandla port, the accused used to make the truck disappear, put a fake number plate and send the truck loaded with adulterated coal to UltraTech Company. However, when the LCB intercepted a truck, the accused broke the seal of the truck without adulteration and tried to show a picture that an unknown person had broken the seal. The involvement of some employees working in the company is also likely to be revealed during further investigations into the matter.
