Duplicate Ghee: The food department of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation has raised a red eye against suspected duplicate ghee being sold in the name of pure cow ghee in Ahmedabad city. Today, on 8th June, 2026, a total of approximately 4,850 kg of suspected cow ghee, valued at Rs. 10,000 crore, has been seized from three different locations in the city during an inspection in Indrapuri Ward area of South Zone of AMC. Rs 31,81,273.

The AMC team inspected the site located at CTM behind Laxmanbhai Industrial Estate, Purvadeep Society, in Indrapuri area.
