More than 15 areas will get less water tomorrow: Kotarpur water treatment plant to be closed for 8 hours; Water will be available as usual from Wednesday

The Kotarpur Water Treatment Plant, which supplies water to parts of the western and eastern parts of the city, has been shut down for maintenance till 4 pm today. Due to this, there will be very low water in some parts of the east and west tomorrow morning, the 11th of February. Citizens will have to face water problem due to scarcity of water. There will be water with low pressure tomorrow morning The Kotarpur Water Treatment Plant supplies water from Naroda, Sardarnagar, Bapunagar, Thakkarbapanagar to Narol in the eastern part of the city, as well as areas including Odhav, Biratnagar, Nikol, Saijpur, Shahibaug, Asarwa, Shahpur, Dariapur, Jamalpur Khadia, Motera, Chandkheda, Sabarmati and Sardar Patel Stadium. Due to the shutdown after giving water this morning, these areas will have water with low pressure tomorrow morning. Operations at Kotarpur Water Treatment Plant GETCO, the company that supplies power at the Kotarpur Water Treatment Plants under the Water Production Department of the Municipal Corporation, has taken a shutdown for 8 hours from 8 am to 4 pm on February 10 for maintenance under the pre-monsoon activity in Power Feeder-1 and 2. The Kotarpur Water Treatment Plants will remain closed for 8 hours, due to which some areas in the North Zone, Central Zone, East Zone, West Zone and South Zone will be supplied with water according to the available quantity on February 11. Water supply will be provided as usual from Wednesday.
