Thus, there were 7 traffic jams in 39 days. People on the Ahmedabad-Mumbai National Highway have been suffering from traffic jams for the last five years. This year too there were eight traffic jams in the last one-and-a-half months. There was a traffic jam of 10 to 15 kilometers. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari had slammed officials of the National HighwayAuthority and asked them to solve the problem of traffic jams at the earliest. Apart from this, the Vadodara district collector also issued a notice to the officials. Vadodara City Police Commissioner, RTO and National Highway Authority officials then visited Jambuwa and were instructed to resolve the problem of traffic jams at the earliest. So the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) came to know that the problem of traffic jams on the Narrow Bridge here is very high and they have now done good carpeting. Due to which there is no problem of traffic jam at present. He further said that apart from this, Vadodara MP Hemangbhai Joshi was in Delhi, so he conveyed the problem to The Union Road and Transport Nitin Gadkari and the traffic problem of Jambuwa Bridge is very big and it should be resolved soon. Therefore, we have been assured that the work of the new bridge is also being done at a fast pace and will be operational by April 2026. It is worth mentioning that for the last five to five years, people have been suffering from the problem of traffic jams, yet no concrete action was taken by the system, due to which the people were upset. Now that the system has woken up, people are demanding that the system be alert so that people do not have to be harassed again.
