Ahmedabad Rural Police have arrested Popular Builder Darshat Patel from Shrinathji for allegedly grabbing land worth crores of rupees in different areas of Ahmedabad by forging documents and hooliganism. The land in Godhavi was grabbed by creating an inheritance named Bhutiya. Dashrath Patel has also been arrested in the case. Ramakrishna Acharya, a resident of Sola, had lodged a complaint with the Bopal police station in September 2022 alleging that the land in Godhvi and Ghuma was in the name of his grandfather Shatrughnadas Acharya. After the death of Shatrughnadas Acharya in 1951, the name of Ramakrishna Acharya's father Gordhandas was added to the inheritance of the land in Ghuma . But due to a condition his name was left out of the Godhavi land.
