If someone did not fill the form with the mandate, someone withdrew it, Netaji's saffron filled the Congress with grief

The cruelty of the house. This proverb applies to the Congress right now because a new trend has been set in Gujarat politics. Fill the form from the Congress or the AAP and become a BJP candidate at the last minute. Be it Dahod or Vav-Tharad or a metropolis like Ahmedabad? The Congress is looking helpless due to the betrayal of the candidates. Because Netaji, who is in the Congress in the morning, joins the BJP in the afternoon. After the betrayal of the candidates, the Congress has demanded that the anti-defection law be linked to the process of forms. Divya Bhaskar spoke to state Congress spokesperson Parthivraj Singh Kathwaria. Candidate one, mandate three Bharatsinh Wakhla, who is contesting from the Pipero zilla panchayat seat in Dhanpur in Dahod district, was originally from the Congress. In 2017, he contested from Devgadh Baria assembly seat as a Congress candidate against BJP's Bachu Khabad. However, after losing, he wore his hat. He had won the AAP mandate from Pipero seat for the local body polls. After this, he took the Congress into confidence and got the mandate of the Congress. In the end, he also got the mandate of the BJP. Thus, he was nominated from all three parties. Due to which his 3 names were on the list of the State Election Commission. Out of these, he has withdrawn his forms from the Congress and AAP and finally leaned out of the BJP. It's a blatant betrayal: Congress The Congress has openly termed Wakhala's move as a betrayal. State Congress spokesperson Parthivraj Singh Kathwadia told Bhaskar that he had joined AAP after the Congress gave ticket to Bharat Vakhla in 2017. His brother was also an office-bearer in the Congress. The Congress trusted Bharat Vakhala. He came from the opposite side and said that he wanted to join the Congress. "The party trusted him that this man wanted to fight corruption by Bachu Khabade. The Congress gave him a mandate because he wanted to fight against the BJP's Katki, Commission and Kamalam's government. He has openly betrayed the Congress," he said. From Congress to BJP in 24 minutes Jogaji Rajput, the Congress candidate from the Bhorol district panchayat of Vav-Tharad, did the same. He also filed his nomination form as a Congress candidate at 2 pm on the last day of filing his nomination papers and submitted his mandate at 2.21 pm. At around 2.45 pm, the BJP filled the form and submitted the mandate. During the verification of the form that began on the 13th, the Congress form was cancelled by submitting an affidavit that the person who signed the form as a supporter did not sign it himself, that his name was a false signature. So now the election battle will be played between the independent candidates and the BJP in this seat. 'Betrayed the Congress' "Jogaji Rajput has been associated with the Congress for years. The Congress and the MP and the district president had placed their trust in him, but that person betrayed the Congress. The people of Vav-Tharad district are spitting on this issue of treachery. There is no place for such people in a democracy. We are trying to find a way out of Vav-Tharad. Bitter experience for Congress in Ahmedabad In the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation elections, the Congress had given ticket to Falguniben Rawal from Vasna area. He was also given a mandate but he did not go to fill the form. The Congress candidate from Sarkhej seat, Bharat Bharwad, has withdrawn his nomination papers, so the situation is now in a situation where the election battle is now being fought among the remaining candidates. BJP MLA Amit Thackeray welcomed the move by Bharat Bharwad in a post on social media and said that his arrival will further strengthen the BJP. The Congress, on the other hand, believes that the candidates who do so are lacking in their intentions. Parthivraj Singh said that the Congress had selected Falguniben and asked her to file her nomination papers. He kept the party in the dark and did not arrive at the last minute in the afternoon. Congress leaders kept calling him and he came and said that he did not want to contest the elections. If he did not contest the election, he should have informed at the earliest. At the last moment, it means that there is a lack of intentions, they want to do something wrong. People will throw out BJP: Congress The Congress also accused the police of intimidating candidates. Kathwadia said that 2 former MLAs Baldevji Thakor and Gulab Singh Rajput had to complain that the police were intimidating and suppressing candidates in Mehsana and Vav-Tharad. What is the world's largest party afraid of? I think the people of Gujarat are fed up with the corrupt rule and they have to be ousted. 'Such incidents are worrisome' The Congress has termed such incidents as serious as well as an infringement on the rights of voters. "These incidents are very serious and worrisome for democracy," he said. Somewhere it is sold with money, somewhere it is sold with a position, somewhere someone is intimidated or somewhere someone is threatened. It is sad to say that democracy is being murdered in broad daylight. What is the fear of contesting elections for a party that considers itself the world's largest party (BJP)? Why does the BJP have to buy and sell? The biggest question arises as to why they have to be intimidated. The people of Gujarat will have to reject such a party," he said. The Congress has demanded that the anti-defection law be linked to the process of filling up forms after its own candidates betrayed it. Kathwadia said that if a candidate defects after being elected, then there is a defection clause, but this is sold before the election, let alone voting. The form is sold on the day it is filled. "I believe that a law should be enacted so that no candidate can defect or declare support till the last day of voting after the election process is announced and the date of filing of nomination forms. Because when a candidate fills the form, he is in a state of consciousness and in his conscious state, he should know what he wants to do in the coming days," he said.
