Alpesh Solanki, a teacher who poisoned his seven and two-and-a-half-year-old sons in the District Panchayat quarters of Ath Valains, hanged himself on Thursday after being harassed by his wife's affair. Police have registered a case of abetment to suicide against his wife Falguni (district panchayat clerk) and her lover Naresh Rathod (Agriculture Extension Officer) and arrested both of them. Falguni had an affair with Naresh after a love marriage with Alpesh. Alpesh had written two diaries and a suicide note. For the last one month, Alpesh used to write his pain in the diary every day. He also wrote that I was a one lady man and Falguni used to tell me that 'there must be an affair'. When I went out, she would call Naresh home.' Instead of breaking the affair, Falguni had said, 'If you want to die, die.' "Let me live my life," he wrote, adding, "Falguni and Naresh were persuaded to break the affair, but they did not agree." Alpesh's 400-page diary, 13-page suicide note contains words of pain, pain and helplessness... I have never even seen any other girl in my life and over and over again Falguni's words were constantly playing in my thoughts. I was confident that there was no one to see my sons after I would die. On whom can I trust them?
