Manjalpur police have arrested a minor member of the gang after anti-social elements vandalised seven statues of Shriji in the ground near Atmiyadham in Manjalpur. While 8 to 10 youths had a fight with Murthykar over laying the cable. Manjalpur police said the youths then vandalised the idol. Sculptor Sureshbhai Tulsiram said, "For the first time in the ground near Atmiya Dham, I am working to make statues of Shriji. 15 days ago, the dye used to make statues of Shriji was thrown in the garbage a little ahead of the ground. A group of 8 to 10 youths living in the vicinity of The Avadhat Phatak threw the dye. When I was working till 12 o'clock on Tuesday night, when I came to the work place in the morning, I called the Manjalpur police after learning that as many as 7 idols had been vandalised. Manjalpur police have arrested a minor who committed the act. And action was taken.
