For the first time, the BJP is forming the government in West Bengal. Suvendu Adhikari, who defeated Mamata Banerjee in the Bhabanipur seat, has become the Chief Minister of Gujarat. Ashok Chaudhary, chairman of Amul Federation and Dudhsagar Dairy, is the chairman of the Amul Federation and Dudhsagar Dairy. After thanking Suvendu Adhikari, Divya Bhaskar spoke to Ashok Chowdhury and tried to know about the experience of campaigning during the West Bengal elections and especially in the Bhabanipur seat from which Suvendu Adhikari and Mamata Banerjee were contesting. Ashok Chaudhary and his team were in charge of Suvendu Adhikari's meeting
Suvendu Adhikari, who defeated West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in the Bhowanipur seat, has been sworn in as the Chief Minister of West Bengal. Amul Federation chairman Ashok Choudhary said that on the instructions of the BJP high command, a team of 70 workers from Gujarat had actively worked for Suvendu Adhikari in the Bhawanipur seat. Hitting out at the 'goondaraj' and atmosphere of fear prevailing under Mamata Banerjee's rule, he said that earlier voters were prevented from voting by intimidating them, but this time due to the cooperation of central forces and the planning of Amit Shah, people came out fearlessly and voted in favour of the BJP. 'Gujaratis campaigned at the risk of their lives in Bhawanipur seat'
A team of 70 workers, including Ashok Chaudhary from Gujarat, Junagadh MLA Sanjay Koradia, went to West Bengal for campaigning. Ashok Chaudhary and his team were given the responsibility of the Bhawanipur seat. Mamata Banerjee and Suvendu Adhikari were contesting from this seat. Ashok Chowdhury said that goons were given a free hand during Mamata Banerjee's rule. Those who wanted to vote for the BJP were threatened. If we talk about Bhawanipur, there are about 33,000 Gujarati and Marwari voters there. They have been living there for years. Due to the arrangements, most of the voters got rid of their fears and came out to vote openly. "It was during the campaign that we knew that the BJP's victory was certain.
When we travelled for about four-five days in Bhawanipur, we were confident that we would win 100 percent. The reason for this confidence was the attitude of the voters. The feedback we were getting from the voters who used to meet us showed that this time Suvendu ji will win 100% and Mamata ji will lose. Because of this, they have to gather at home. Our only strategy was to get more and more people to vote
Chaudhary further said that people were very upset with her own style of working within the strategy to defeat Mamata Banerjee. We did what we did to come out fearlessly. 'It was a great experience working with Suvendu Adhikari'
Ashok Choudhary further said, "The experience of working with Suvendu Adhikari has been very good. He is a grassroots leader who cares a lot about every worker. I am 100% hopeful that the BJP government in West Bengal will be able to do a very good job under his leadership. 'Every evening Gujarati families would take them to their homes and feed them'
There are many memorable incidents during elections. But most of the time, every evening a Gujarati family, being a Marwari family, insists that they take us to their house and feed us and tell us that you have come from 2000 kilometers away for this work. As a worker, it is a matter of great pride and joy that a leader is going to become the Chief Minister himself. It is such a big task for him. Yet, the work that a small worker like us remembers and mentioned me shows how much he loves the workers and it is in his nature that he should not forget that he should always do good work. Ashok Chaudhary is the chairman of Dudhsagar Dairy and GCMMF.
Ashok Chaudhary has been working as the chairman of Dudhsagar Dairy for the last two terms. He is also the chairman of the Amul Federation.
