Wife assaults husband in house quarrel: Wife beats husband on the head with a wooden stick for refusing to keep his son, husband files police complaint against wife

Bhavnagar: In a shocking incident, a young man living in Sidsar area of Bhavnagar and associated with the diamond industry was fatally attacked by his wife, in which the wife hit her husband on the head with a wooden stick after a minor altercation over the protection of a small child. According to the police, 30-year-old Bakul Kalyanbhai Makwana, a resident of opposite Sidsar Darbar Garh, has said in his complaint that he works as a diamond grinder and had a love marriage with Pooja Pravinbhai Gohel three years ago. He also has a 10-month-old son, on 29/6 at around 8.30 pm, Bakul was resting at home, Bakul's father had undergone a heart operation and he was with him in the hospital, due to which he was very tired, at this time his wife asked him to take care of the baby as he was crying. Hearing Bakulbhai's refusal, the wife got agitated and started abusing him, during the conversation, the wife picked up a wooden stick lying in the house and hit Bakul on the head, causing serious head injuries, after the incident, the wife went to her father's house and threatened to kill Bakul if he never listened to her again. Bakul did not seek immediate treatment as the injuries appeared to be normal at the time of the incident, but the next morning, when he started vomiting, he was rushed to Sir T. He was rushed to the hospital. He is currently undergoing treatment in the ward of the old building of the hospital, where Bakul lodged a complaint against his wife Pooja at the Vartej police station.
