BJP state president Jagdish Vishwakarma was welcomed in Himmatnagar.

Newly appointed Gujarat BJP president Jagdish Vishwakarma visited Himmatnagar on Tuesday. He attended a felicitation ceremony organised by the Sabarkantha BJP. He also inaugurated the Public Service Office of MP Shobhanaben Baraiya. Vishwakarma joined the bike rally after reaching Himmatnagar as per the schedule. The rally reached the reception venue held at the Kalash Party plot where they were accorded a grand welcome in the presence of district leaders. Addressing the workers at the function, the state president said that Sabarkantha district has provided leadership to the country to carry forward the ideology of the Prime Minister and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, who has given direction to the whole of Gujarat but also the country. He termed the tragedy in Delhi as very sad and welcomed the Prime Minister's decision not to spare the culprits. A moment of silence was observed in honour of the deceased. Jagdish Vishwakarma praised the work of Sabarkantha poet Umashankar Joshi, Late Gulzarilal Nanda, Arvind Trivedi and Shantigiri Maharaj. He termed the Chitra Mela as the identity of not only Sabarkantha but the entire state and praised the farmer oriented activities of the cooperative leaders. After reaching Himmatnagar, the state president visited the RSS office Karmadham on Khed Tasia Road and interacted with prominent volunteers of the district for 23 minutes. Thereafter, the convoy visited the Jainacharya Vidyalaya in Mahavirnagar and sought blessings of Mahashravan. He reached the public service office of Sabarkantha-Aravalli MP Shobhanaben Mahendrasinh Baraiya at the Cooperative Jean Tulsi Complex. Here he first worshipped Gaumata and then worshipped 101 books of Srimad Bhagavad Gita. Sarees were also distributed to women sanitation workers in the presence of the state president. This office was formally inaugurated by the daughters. After paying floral tributes at the statue of Mahatma Gandhi at Motipura in Himmatnagar, he joined a bike rally with a large number of BJP Yuva Morcha workers and reached the venue of the felicitation ceremony. Here he received the greetings of district BJP leaders, cooperative leaders, various associations, industrialists, mandals, women and educationists. Sabarkantha district BJP president Kanu Patel, district in-charge Pradyuman Waja, Sabarkantha and Aravalli Lok Sabha MP Shobhanaben Baraiya, Himmatnagar MLA V.D. Gupta and others were present on the occasion. A large number of workers including Prantij MLA Gajendrasinh Parmar, Idar MLA Ramanla Vora, Zilla Panchayat President Bhartiben Patel, Kisan Morcha President Hitesh Patel, Siddharth Patel and others were present.
