Surat: Bodies of two students found in bathroom of Swaminarayan temple, searched on ChatGPT, 'How to commit suicide'

Surat News: The bodies of two promising students were found at the Swaminarayan Mandir in Sania village of Surat city. Roshni Sharad Shirsath, 18, and Joshna Chaudhary, 20, committed suicide under mysterious circumstances

What was the whole incident?

Talking about this, the two girls, who live in the Dindoli area and study at Citizen College in Udhna, left home at 7 am on Friday to go to college as usual. The family members were worried as they did not return by 12.30 pm and did not receive any response despite repeated calls. Finally, a complaint was lodged at the Dindoli police station at 3 pm

The police conducted technical surveillance and location tracing and found their last location near the Swaminarayan temple in Saniya village. When the family reached there, they found the car of the girls in the temple premises. During the investigation, the suspicion was raised as the light of one of the bathrooms was switched on. The two girls were found unconscious there as soon as they broke open the locked door from inside. Doctors who took him to the hospital declared him dead

Shocking revelations in investigation

Police investigation and CCTV footage have revealed that the two girls entered the temple around 7.15 am and went towards the bathroom at 7.30 am. The most shocking detail has come to light that before committing suicide, the duo searched for 'how to commit suicide' on ChatGPT. Police recovered three bottles of injection and medicine as well as packets of poison from the spot. This evidence suggests that the girls may have shortened their lives from a toxic drug overdose.

Childhood friendship and final journey

According to the family, Roshni and Josh studied together from Class 1 to Class 12 and were childhood friends. The Dindoli police have registered a case of accidental death and shifted the bodies for postmortem (PM). The help of FSL is being sought to find out what poison was in the injection and what was the real reason behind the suicide.
