Heat Mercury likely to reach 39°C in Valsad: Hot sunshine throughout the day, UV index high

The humidity in the district is likely to be between 18 and 21 per cent. Wind speeds are currently blowing from the northeast of about 3 miles per hour. During the day, it could increase to 12 mph from the northwest, intensifying the feeling of heat in the afternoon. Today the UV index is likely to be recorded at 8 (very high), which can be harmful to health due to prolonged exposure to the sun. Health experts have advised using hats, goggles and sunscreen while going out in the afternoon as well as drinking plenty of water. According to the Meteorological Department, there is no possibility of rain in the district today, so it will be sunny throughout the day. With the onset of summer, the temperature is likely to rise further in the coming days as well.
