BJP loses Bihar-Madhya Pradesh seat: Prashant Kishor of Jan Suraj wins party president Nitin Nabin's seat; BJP wins Manjalpur in Vadodara

The results of the by-elections to three assembly seats in Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat have been declared. The Congress has won in Datia in MP and the BJP has won in Gujarat. Prashant Kishor has won the seat of Nitin Nabin from Bankipur in Bihar. Jansuraj Party founder Prashant Kishor won by a margin of 19246 votes. Prashant got 63946 votes, while BJP's Neeraj Kumar got 44700 votes. Bankipur seat is the traditional seat of BJP national president Nitin Nabin. He has been an MLA from here for 5 consecutive terms. A bypoll was held on the seat after he went to the Rajya Sabha. Some glitches were noticed on the Election Commission's website during the counting. Since morning, 31 rounds of counting were shown on the website. As soon as the 31 rounds were over, the first 32 rounds and then the 36 rounds were shown. Later, 32 rounds of counting were shown.
