In a video that went viral recently, Radhika Rathwa accused the district police of threatening their elected candidates and making offers to switch sides after a tie broke out in Kadwal and Chhota Udepur taluka panchayats. He asked the policemen to stop 'brokering in uniform' and added that if they are fond of playing politics, they should take off their uniform and contest elections. Rathwa further alleged in the video that the police were threatening to implicate Aam Aadmi Party candidates in false cases. A high-level notice has been taken on the basis of this viral video. The Bodeli police have registered a case under Sections 212(2), 217(B), and 229(2) of the BNS 2023 against Radhika Rathwa for tarnishing the image of the government machinery and the police and started further investigation.
