Vadodara: The then Mamlatdar of Nandod has been arrested by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) in connection with a serious offence of causing a loss of over Rs 1.29 crore to the government by illegally certifying the land title deeds and remanded him till Monday.
Serious negligence came to light when the Gandhinagar CID Crime investigated a complaint regarding a note of approved land in Bakhar village of Nandod taluka of Rajpipla. Title Note No. 33, 35, 41 and 42. Ibid., 504.
