Not every branch wise has shown complete vacancies to the employees who have come from the transfer from other districts of the state to Gandhinagar district panchayat. But there have been murmurs of resentment among employees and members that some places have been suppressed. However, amid talks of transfer-made employees being given postings at the place of their choice on the basis of transparent merit, there was a discussion among the employees and their relatives about bringing the faithful there by keeping the vacancies vacant in some branches, which did not show complete vacancies. The transfer of district-wise has been done by the state development commissioner at the request of the employees performing duties in all the districts across the state. More than 79 employees of different cadres, including junior clerks, female health workers, lab technicians, talati, junior clerk accountants, pharmacists, gram sevaks, extension officers, have been transferred to Gandhinagar district panchayat. A transparent plan was made in the meeting hall of the district panchayat to put the employees transferred to the place of their choice on the basis of merit. But all the branches of the district panchayat, including the branches of the taluka panchayat, have not been shown in front of the employees. Therefore, the voice of who is benefiting by not showing some vacancies has been raised among the members, employees as well as their relatives. However, on Monday, in the Gandhinagar district panchayat, the work of transferring employees was done at the selected place for the posts of administrative employees such as Junior Clerk, Talati, Accounting Junior Clerk. On Tuesday, employees of the cadre, including female health workers, lab technicians, pharmacists, who were transferred to the health branch, were put in the selected place on the basis of merit from the vacant posts. The locations were decided keeping in mind the priority of the work.
