Crime Branch pushes Surat, Vadodara and Ahmedabad jails: 3 persons booked under PASA in Dungarpur cow slaughter case

The Crime Branch took action under PASA against 3 persons involved in the crime of cow slaughter in Dungarpur and sent them to Surat, Vadodara and Ahmedabad jails. A case was registered against 3 persons for illegally slaughtering a cow in Dungarpur village under Junagadh taluka police station area, hurting the sentiments of Hinduism and throwing meat, skin and head parts on the public road. Taluka PI F. B. Based on the proposal prepared by Gagania and LCB PI Kunal Patel, PASA warrants were issued against the three persons by the District Magistrate and Collector. On the basis of this warrant, different teams of the Crime Branch conducted an investigation with the help of human intelligence and technical sources and nabbed the three accused from Datar Road in Junagadh, Dudhala and Dungarpur in Visavadar taluka. On Monday, the trio was detained and sent to the Central Jail of Surat (Lajpore), Vadodara and Ahmedabad respectively.
