The smugglers entered the bungalow and scattered the luggage, but preliminary investigations revealed that no valuables were stolen. Dharampur police have registered a case and further investigation is underway. According to the information received, Judge M.A. Mirza has been on leave since March 28, 2026, and his rented bungalow has been closed. Taking advantage of this, the smugglers opened the door of the grill at the rear of the bungalow and entered the premises. The incident came to light around 9am on April 1 when court peon Hareshbhai reached the bungalow to collect the judge's coat. Hareshbhai saw the back door of the bungalow open and immediately informed the court registrar Hemantbhai Natubhai Patel. The registrar and other staff rushed to the spot. During the investigation, the contents kept in the small room of the bungalow were found to be in a scattered state. Judge M.A. After talking to Mirza, it became clear that no property or belongings were stolen from the bungalow. The smugglers entered only with the intention of stealing but did not succeed. Hemantbhai Natubhai Patel, a registrar of the Additional Sessions Court, has lodged a complaint at Dharampur police station in this regard. The Dharampur police have registered a case under Sections 331 (3), 331 (4), 305 (A) and 62 of the Indian Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (B.N.S.S.) and further investigation is underway.
