Vadodara: A scuffle broke out between bjp and Congress members at the general body meeting of Vadodara district panchayat today after a gap of five months.
The meeting of the district panchayat was held after five months due to the code of conduct for the gram panchayat elections, in which congress members led by the opposition leader shouted slogans with placards and entered the assembly hall, bjp members protested saying stop the stunt.
The opposition members then made representations alleging that the work of the primary education, health department and irrigation-construction department had collapsed.
