Vadodara: The auto-rickshaw overturned after it was hit by an Eicher truck under the Kapurai bridge at around 5 am in Vadodara. The rickshaw puller succumbed to his injuries during brief treatment.
Harshadbhai Jayantibhai Mali, who lives opposite Dabhoi Bharat Talkies, runs a flower business. As per routine this morning, he left Dabhoi in the rickshaw of his friend Mohammad Ilyas Hasanbhai Vaniyawala to buy flowers from Dabhoi. The incident took place around 5 am when a truck driver hit the rickshaw on the road leading from Ahmedabad to Surat, which was coming under the bridge near Kapurai Chowki . People from around rushed to the spot and parked the rickshaw and pulled out the two friends.
