Earlier, Team India's biggest T20 defeat was by 80 runs, which came against New Zealand in 2019. Meanwhile, 76 runs is the second-lowest score by an Indian team in the history of T20 cricket. India's lowest score is 74 runs, which came against Australia in 2008.
All veterans failed
In the second match in a row, the Indian team dropped Sanju Samson and gave a chance to Vaibhav Suryavanshi. Like his debut match, Suryavanshi hit two sixes and scored 13 runs off five balls. Abhishek Sharma scored 10 runs and Ishan Kishan scored 13 runs. Soon the score was 41 for four.
