Bhavnagar: The Ghogha police raided near the new primary school in Padwa village and nabbed five persons who were gambling in public with ganjipata and cash worth Rs 22,750. According to the information received, the Ghogha police staff were patrolling in the police station area. In the meantime, information was received that some persons were gambling on victory and defeat in public with the leaves of ganji cards in the open space near Padwa village New Primary School. These five were nabbed by the police
On the basis of information received by the police, they raided the spot and during the investigation, Ghugha Abhalbhai Desai remained in the spot. The deceased were identified as Mukesh Popatbhai Dabhi of Khadsalia village, Ashok alias Munno Pachabhai Dabhi of Padwa village, Arvind Singh Vikramsinh Gohil. Kareda village, Lakhman Jivanbhai Baraiya resides. Residents of Karedagaon have been arrested. Offence registered
A total of Rs 22,750 in cash was seized by the police and a case under sections of the Gambling Act was registered against the men at Ghogha police station.
