In Ahmedabad, 70 per cent of BJP corporators will be denied tickets. According to BJP sources, the BJP has decided to field people who have a clean image and non-controversial people in the municipal corporation. No corporator above 60 years of age and who has become a corporator after contesting elections for three terms will not be given a ticket. Aam Aadmi Party's Gopal Italia has broken his silence on an alleged audio clip that is going viral on social media. Italia has said that this audio is completely fake and made by AI. The Congress has released the first list of 7 municipalities. However, the BJP is yet to announce any candidate. The three-day parliamentary board is currently brainstorming on the names of zone-wise candidates and the final list is being finalized. In the meantime, the Congress is likely to release its second list today.
