Gujarat Museums: With the changing times in Gujarat, the form of museums has also become completely high-tech. According to the claim of the Directorate of Archaeology and Museums under the Department of Youth Services and Culture, Government of Gujarat, more than 16 lakh citizens have visited various museums in the state in the last 2 years. With the convergence of digital technology, museums are no longer just repositories of artefacts, but living centers of knowledge and culture. In the past, a museum was considered only a place to see old statues or coins kept in glass boxes. But today modern technologies like AR/VR (Augmented and Virtual Reality), 3D Projection Mapping, Hologram and Interactive Touchscreen are being used in the state museums so that the young generation can not only see their heritage but also experience it lively.
