Relief news for parents amid inflation, textbook prices in the state will not go up

Relief news has come for the students and parents of the state. The State Textbook Board has clarified that there will be no increase in the prices of books in the current academic year. According to the Textbook Board, it has been decided to retain last year's prices so as not to put an additional financial burden on the students, despite the increase in the printing cost of the books.                          

Board has made it clear that textbooks of all standards will be made available at the previous year's price. It is pertin the state government and the textbook board have decided not to increase the prices by giving priority to the interests of the students. This decision will directly benefit lakhs of students and their parents and prevent the cost of education.

Prices of raw paper used for making textbooks and notebooks have seen a sharp rise internationally. Apart from this, the cost of logistics and transportation has also increased due to the high cost of raw materials and fuel imported from outside. This had a direct impact on the price of textbooks. However, this time the government has decided not to increase the price. At the same time, the government has taken this decision as a relief for parents and students amid the continuous blow of inflation.
