
Gujarat Traffic Police Fine Collection: A special state-wide 'Helmet Drive' was organized from May 1 to May 31 to reduce the incidence of road accidents in Gujarat and to create safety awareness among motorists. During the month-long campaign, the State Traffic Branch has taken punitive action against a total of more than 1.88 lakh motorists who violated the rules across the state. During the entire drive, a total of Rs. A fine of Rs 5.21 crore has been collected.
