Heavy rains in Vadodara's Waghodia diocese, water enters Ramdev Pirji temple in Gutal

Heavy rains lashed Vadodara district's Waghodia diocese. Due to incessant rains, the entire Waghodia area has been flooded. Rainwater has inundated several low-lying areas and main roads in the diocese, causing severe difficulties for local residents and pedestrians to commute.

The sanctum sanctorum of Ramdev Pirji's temple in Gutal village was flooded

Due to heavy rains, the holy temple of Ramdev Pirji in Gutal village of Waghodia has also been submerged in water. There is a lot of anxiety among the devotees and local residents as the flood water has entered the temple premises as well as the sanctum sanctorum. Due to waterlogging in the holy shrine, the devotees who come for daily worship and darshan have to suffer a lot.

Anger against the system due to lack of proper drainage system

Due to lack of proper and adequate arrangements for rainwater drainage, the village and the temple premises are getting waterlogged in large quantities. There is a lot of anger and resentment among the locals as the pre-monsoon operations of the system are opened. There is a strong demand from the villagers that the administration should make pumping or other proper arrangements for drainage of water with immediate effect.
