Sankat Chauth was celebrated at the Ashtavinayak Ganpati temple in Vinayaknagar in Chhaparia area of Himmatnagar on Friday. On this occasion, special decorations of oranges, chikoo, grapes and bananas were offered to Ganpati Dada, which became a centre of attraction for the devotees. As part of the Sankat Chauth celebrations, Ganpati Dada was anointed at 5:30 am. This was followed by an aarti at 6:15 am, in which a large number of devotees participated. Hosted by Sanjaybhai N. The flag was hoisted by the carpenter family at 6:45 a.m. with worship. Throughout the day, devotees had darshan of the decoration of fruits offered to Ashtavinayak Ganpati Dada. Aarti will be performed at the temple at 7:00 pm and Chandra Darshan will take place at 9:19 pm. According to devotee Gopi Bhoi, the darshan of Ganpati Dada protects against danger and the devotees have unwavering faith in Ashtavinayak Dada.
