Iran has claimed that it has targeted an American helicopter along with an American fighter jet. Earlier, Iran shot down an American fighter jet, the report said. According to the Tasnim news agency, this was an F-15E aircraft, while some media reports have described it as an F-35. The helicopter was targeted while the US was conducting a search operation to rescue its pilot. Iran has also announced a reward for catching the American pilot alive.
