On Monday, the Indian rupee hit an all-time low of 95 per dollar for the first time in its history. However, at the end of the day, it had gained 15 paise to close at 94.70. In the midst of this turmoil in the foreign exchange market, an important report of the country's largest bank, the State Bank of India (SBI), has come out, in which the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has been advised to take immediate steps to protect the value of the rupee.
