Iranian President Massoud Pajeshkiye has sent his resignation to the country's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mujtaba Khamenei. According to a report by Iran International, Pajeshkian wrote in his letter that the country's power is now completely controlled by the commanders of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). According to Pajeshkian, since the war with the United States and Israel began in February, his government has not been involved in major decisions and real control has been lost to the military leadership. However, Seyyed Mehdi Tabatabai, deputy head of the Department of Communications and Information Broadcasting at the Iranian presidential office, denied the report. "President Pajeshkian will not shy away from serving the people," he said in a X post. "Just as the Iranian people will not back down from the path of unity and resistance, Pajeshkian will continue to serve the people," he said. 5 big updates from the last 24 hours...
