Power struggle in Iran amid war, IRGC takes full control of it, crisis on Pezeshkian's power?

There is a power struggle going on inside Iran amid the ongoing war with Israel and the United States. There are reports that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and Iranian President Massoud Pezeshkian are embroiled in a power struggle. While the role of the Pezeshkian has been limited, the influence of the IRGC continues to grow in the country.

According to the report, the IRGC has blocked many important government decisions and appointments, due to which the powers of President Masoud Pezeshkian have been almost neutralized. The same was seen with the recent appointment of the Iranian intelligence minister. The names proposed by Pejeshkian for this post were rejected.

If you look at the political system of Iran, the name of the intelligence minister is usually proposed by the president, but the final approval is given by the Supreme Leader. However, the current situation in Iran and the uncertainty about the situation and location of Supreme Leader Mujtaba Khamenei remains, taking advantage of this, the IRGC now seems to be strengthening its grip on the security apparatus and decisions.
