The Kokroch Janata Party (CJP) has been protesting at Jantar Mantar for 20 days in protest against the NEET paper leak. On Thursday, founder Abhijeet Deepak shared a video in which he is seen folding hands and holding legs in front of policemen. Sharing the video, he wrote, "The students who are protesting and sitting on hunger strike are getting drenched in the rain. I have sought permission from the police officials to set up a tent at Jantar Mantar. So that the students can be protected from the rain. The CJP has been protesting at Jantar Mantar since June 20 to protest against allegations of irregularities in several exams, including NEET, and paper leaks. They demand the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Sonam Wangchuk has been on a hunger strike for the last 12 days. CJP formed after CJI's remarks, calls youth cockroaches The Kokoroch Janata Party (CJP) was formed after a remark by Chief Justice Surya Kant. During the hearing of a case on May 15, he said that some unemployed youths are like cockroaches, who later attack the system by becoming media, social media or RTI activists. The next day of this remark, on May 16, Abhijeet Deepak, who lives in the US, started the CJP and created the party's accounts on social media. On May 22, he launched an online petition demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, which claimed to have the support of over 8 lakh people. As of June 10, CJP had 2.27 crore followers on Instagram. Now it has come down to two lakhs. However, this number is more than the 94 lakh followers of the BJP and 1.37 crore followers of the Congress. CJP has 2.79 lakh followers on X. Abhijeet, 30, is a digital media strategist from Sambhaji Nagar, Maharashtra. Abhijeet studied journalism from Pune. He is currently pursuing a master's degree in public relations at Boston University in the US.
