'Honeytrap and blackmailing under the guise of love' The girl then started blackmailing the lawyer. The lawyer alleged that the girl had threatened to make photos and videos of her personal relationships viral on social media and implicate her in a false rape case. With these threats, he forcibly snatched Rs 30,000 in cash from the lawyer. Lawyer surrenders to police demanding Rs 5 lakh The girl demanded Rs 5,00,000 more and created a ruckus in the court lobby as well as near the lawyer's house. Tired of this constant mental torture, the lawyer also sent messages to the point of committing suicide. Eventually, he has resorted to the police amid fears of major damage to his reputation and legal profession. Girl complains of rape on the pretext of helping in case On the other hand, the 28-year-old woman has filed a counter-complaint against lawyer Bharat Chavda at the B-Division police station for rape and death threats. The girl alleges that the lawyer befriended her and lured her to help her in the ongoing court case. On this pretext, he called her to meet her at Aashiyana Hotel in Junagadh and raped her against her will. 'Caused bodily injury' The girl further stated in her complaint that the lawyer repeatedly raped her. Not only that, but the body was bitten and inflicted physical injuries. If anyone was informed about this, the accused in the previous case were also threatened with death and death. On the basis of the girl's complaint, the police registered a case against the lawyer and handed over the investigation to the officer of Joshipura police outpost. The lawyer used to have frequent phone conversations with the girl on the pretext of helping her in the case and they would also go to Ahmedabad with her. This led to a love affair between the two. During this time, they used to go to different hotels in Junagadh and also formed a physical relationship between the two. He threatened to inform the girl's family The girl was being blackmailed by advocate Bharat Chavda that he was helping the accused in her ongoing case in Ahmedabad, and if the girl did not have a relationship with him, he would take action to benefit the accused. He also blackmailed the girl's family by threatening to report the matter. Fed up with the blackmailing and threats, the girl finally lodged a rape complaint. ​ Lawyer claims to have entered into a friendship agreement: Police Advocate Bharat Chavda has also lodged a complaint against the girl at Junagadh C-Division police station, DySP Hitesh Dhandhalia said. The lawyer alleged that the girl demanded Rs 5,00,000 if she did not want to file a rape case. The lawyer refused to pay the amount. Police are in action to gather evidence in both the complaints.
