Vadodara News: 90 families trapped as water from Dhadhar river enters Kherda village of Karjan, making the new city unconnected

The water level in the Dhadhar river and its surrounding gorges passing through Karjan taluka of Vadodara district has created a serious situation. A wave of anxiety has turned in the diocese as the river water flows into the gorge in Kherda village of Karjan. An atmosphere of chaos has been created as the water of the river has started flowing towards the village.

90 families affected by the disconnection of the new urban area

The 'New City' area in Kherda village has become completely unconnected due to waterlogging. Traffic on the main road has come to a complete halt due to the flood waters of the Dhadhar river in the creek and ravine near the village. Around 80 to 90 families living in the area have lost touch with the main village, causing trouble for the locals.

The administration is on alert mode as the water level of the river rises.

As the water level in Dhadhar river is continuously rising, the administration is closely monitoring the situation and taking precautionary measures. Necessary arrangements have been made by the administration to ensure that the water recedes and life returns to normal.
