Vadodara, Nov 6 (IANS) The Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) elections are underway. Voters are not as enthusiastic as the leaders are to get involved in this election with local issues. In Vadodara, more than half of the number of registered voters do not vote.
If we look at the data of the last three municipal corporation elections in Vadodara, the voter turnout was less than 50 per cent. It is not right that there are local issues and people do not come out to vote.
