Rajula MLA Hira Solanki has written a letter to the forest minister stating that palitana Shetrunji division and Dhari Gir East division have reported deaths of lions in the last two months. Recently there has been a death in the lion cub and it has been found that he died due to some disease. According to the rules, the trekkers roam around in the allotted area for necessary supervision, in the same way, other officials of the forest department also travel to the forest department area for inspection. However, it is not known what caused this to his attention. It is also possible that such a matter has not been brought to their notice from the local level. This matter is very serious, if the forest department had examined the lions or lion cubs at that time for the protection of wildlife, then the incidents of death of these lions or lions could have been prevented. The MLA made presentations on 5 different issues, apart from this, 3 unnatural deaths due to violent attack in the leopard were also due to the negligence of the Forest Department and the necessary arrangements should be made for the same and legal action should be taken regarding the negligence in the Forest Department.
