The district LCB has arrested the accused of speeding Valsad with 3144 bottles of liquor worth Rs 8.44 lakh hidden in a canal from Karwan to Nana Fofadia. Rural LCB PI KR Sisodia said that during patrolling in the Dabhoi police station area, information was received that liquor was hidden in the minor canal opposite the temple of Chudel Mataji on the way from Caravan to Nana Fofadia. During the investigation, 3144 bottles of foreign liquor worth Rs 8.44 lakh were recovered. Apart from this, the police seized three mobile phones and a total of Rs 8.59 lakh. Sunny alias Lalu Sureshbhai Rathod (Reh-Valsad) was arrested in connection with the prohibition case. The police also detained 3 teenagers who were involved in a legal struggle.
