Morbi taluka police have seized a large quantity of foreign liquor from Premjinagar near Makansar village on Wankaner highway road. Police have seized a total of 1,104 bottles of liquor from a residential building, with a market value of Rs 85,440. The police had received specific information that a quantity of liquor was hidden in the house of Bhupendrabhai Merubhai Zala, a resident of Premjinagar. On the basis of this information, the taluka police conducted a raid. During the raid, 23 boxes filled with small bottles of liquor were recovered from the house. However, during the police raid, the accused Bhupendrabhai Zala was not found present at the house. The police have registered a case against Bhupendrabhai Zala at Morbi taluka police station and legal action is being taken. Further investigations have been launched to nab the accused.
