'Mardaani 3' crosses Rs 37 crore mark in 11 days, collects Rs 10.55 crore on second weekend, clash with 'Border 2' unaffected
It has been 11 days since Yash Raj Films' 'Mardaani 3' was released. The film has collected a net collection of Rs 10.55 crore on its second weekend, after which the film's earnings in India have gone up to Rs 37.10 crore. 'Mardaani 3' earned Rs 2.15 crore on its second Friday. On the second Saturday, the box office saw a tremendous jump and with a 79 per cent increase in collections, it reached Rs 3.85 crore net. After this, the earnings increased further on Sunday and the film collected a net collection of Rs 4.55 crore. A week after 'Border 2', the third film in Rani Mukerji's popular 'Mardaani' franchise 'Mardaani 3' was released on January 30. The film earned an opening collection of Rs 4 crore. On the opening day, 'Mardaani 3' surpassed all expectations and set a record for being the biggest opener ever in the Mardaani franchise and Rani Mukerji's solo films. The film earned Rs 4 crore on the first day, which is considered to be a brilliant and shocking start for any female-centric film in India.
