Vadodara: The Crime Branch has nabbed a man who played a key role in the robbery of Rs 10 lakh in cash and foreign currency notes by throwing chilli in the eyes of a senior citizen trader on the Warasia Ring Road on the day of Uttarayan.
Lilaram Revani, a resident of Chatur Park Society in Warasia and a shopkeeper in Karelibaug, was returning home in a car from his shop on the night of March 16 when the robbers with a scooter and a bike sprayed chillies in his eyes and looted Rs 10 lakh in cash and currency notes of different countries (worth about Rs 2 crore).
