Palanpur NH Highway Closed: Palanpur receives 7 inches of rain; National Highway closed, diversion given
Palanpur received 7 inches of rain following which the highway was closed due to waterlogging on the national highway and the traffic that was there was diverted. Vehicular traffic was diverted due to waterlogging on the highway in Palanpur. Motorists going from Abu to Deesa have been given diversion from Chitrasana. People were also informed about the diversion from Chitrasani. Motorists going to Ahmedabad from Abu have been diverted to Lalawada-Jagana. Vehicular traffic was stopped at some places near Biharipak on the National Highway, police and highway authorities diverted traffic. So the administration has also started working, people are being informed. Palanpur town in Banaskantha district received heavy rainfall last night. Due to which the work of building the bridge which is going on, the low-lying areas were flooded. As part of an alternative arrangement by the administration and the district police system, a special diversion is given to the drivers so that the drivers do not face harassment and inconvenience, which will have to be diverted from Chitrasani to go towards the direction from Abu Road and the drivers will have to go towards the direction via Waghroad Chowki, Chandisar. Apart from this, which is another diversion, we will have to divert from Palanpur RTO Bridge to Ratanpur, Lalawada Chopri via Jagana to go from Abu Road to Ahmedabad-Mehsana on mehsana-Ahmedabad highway
