Jyotsnaben Bharatbhai Vadsola, Sarpanch of Timbdi Gram Panchayat, has written to the Morbi Collector seeking permission to resolve the dispute over a new village land in Timbdi village of Morbi taluka and to allow development works. The presentation was made on June 9, 2026. According to the presentation, there is a dispute over the places in Survey No. 94/2 of Timbdi village and Survey No. 304/1 of Kharaba in Pipli village. A committee headed by the Provincial Officer of Morbi has been formed to resolve the dispute. The panchayat has demanded a speedy and proper resolution of the matter. The sarpanch further said that about 100 families live in the new village area of Timbdi village. At present, plots have been allotted here under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana of the government and the construction work of houses under the housing scheme is also going on. These families are in dire need of basic amenities like electricity, water, underground drainage and roads to live. Therefore, Timbdi Panchayat wants to carry out development works in the area. The collector has been requested to give permission to the gram panchayat to carry out development works in the area at the earliest.
