Morbi Municipal Corporation has launched a special campaign to give impetus to the state government's 'Swachh Gujarat, Plastic Free Gujarat' campaign. Under this, a plastic waste collection and cleanliness drive was held in Ward No. 7 of Morbi. The drive was carried out in the area from Madhapar vegetable market to Aswad Pan and from there to Latiplot police outpost.
Ward number 7 corporators Bhavinbhai Ghelani, Jayeshbhai Desai, Mamtaben Thakar and Jalpaben Songra contributed to the cleanliness drive. Along with him, other workers of the ward also actively participated and spread awareness about cleanliness among the people. The event to create a clean and plastic-free Morbi saw enthusiastic participation from the Municipal Corporation's team, sanitation workers as well as local citizens. The administration has appealed to the residents of the city to cooperate in building a clean, beautiful and plastic-free Morbi.
