Vadodara News: Car dies after car rams into container on Padra-Jambusar road

Another serious road accident took place on the Padra-Jambusar state highway in Vadodara district. A car passing by on the road near Kural village in Padra taluka rammed into the back of a container parked in front of it at full speed. The accident was so horrific that the front part of the car was submerged under the container and the armchairs of the car were blown off.

Car driver dies on the spot in collision

The driver of the car succumbed to his injuries on the spot due to serious injuries sustained in the tragic accident. The sound of the accident was so loud that local residents in the vicinity and other motorists passing by the road immediately rushed to help. People struggled to pull the driver out of the accident car but he died before that.

Traffic jam on highway, Vadu police team took over the front

The accident led to long queues of vehicles on both sides of the Padra-Jambusar highway and a traffic jam. A convoy from Vadu police station rushed to the spot as soon as the incident was reported. The police reached the spot and took possession of the body and shifted it for post-mortem.

The police removed the vehicles from the road and restored the traffic.

The Vadu police moved the accident affected vehicles to the roadside with the help of cranes and JCBs to restore the disrupted traffic on the highway. Police have registered a case of accident and further legal investigation is underway to ascertain the identity of the deceased car driver and the exact cause of the accident.
