Hasmukh Patel's resignation demand in Patan: Petition to Collector alleging injustice to OBC, SC, ST and minority students

Youth and leaders of OBC, SC, ST and minority communities submitted a memorandum at the Patan district collector's office. He alleged injustice and irregularities in the subordinate service selection board and GPSC examinations. The petition demanded the resignation of Hasmukh Patel. If the injustice is not stopped, then there is also a threat of fierce agitation and dharna in the coming days. Babuji Thakor said that the BJP government is doing injustice to the youth of Gujarat in education, employment and government jobs. Protest has also been lodged in Patan district by submitting a memorandum to the Collector. He alleged that Hasmukh Patel, the chairman of the Subordinate Service Selection Board, is tampering with the future of OBC, SC, ST and minority students. Be it the Subordinate Service Selection Board or the Police Recruitment Board, the students of this community are being harmed by Hasmukh Patel in government jobs. Babuji Thakor said that such injustice has happened in the past as well. They have demanded the removal of Hasmukh Patel from the post at the earliest so that the future of the youth is secured. He further said that in the oral examination, students of SC, ST, OBC and minorities get 260 or 280 marks out of 300. However, their future is being ruined by giving them only 20, 19, 14 or 15 less marks out of 100. Now the government is preparing to harm more students by giving 150 marks instead of 100 marks in the oral examination. A memorandum has been submitted to the Collector with a clear demand that Hasmukh Patel's resignation be taken to stop this injustice. Gadhvi Mehuldan said that the students of Patan district had gathered at the Patan district collector's office. A memorandum has been submitted to the Collector against the irregularities in the GPSC examination and the injustice done to the students of OBC, SC, ST communities. If necessary, more students from Patan district will join and sit on a dharna. Their main demand is the removal of GPSC chairman Hasmukh Patel.
